The cottage has everything you could ever want - a real home from home. We stayed with our extended family - but never wanted for space in what is a deceptively spacious house. Location is ideal - only a short walk from the harbour - but far enough away to escape from the hustle and bustle. One special thank you to Tina - who was always quick to reply to any mail or phone queries - and even gave us a quick phone call the day after we arrived to ensure everything was ok

Hi Tina, We have just spent a week staying in the Mevagissey cottage apartment. It really was a home away from home – large lounge, well equipped kitchen and a lovely garden area to sit out in. The weather was very warm during our stay and a fan in the ‘snug area’ would have been good. With parking being such an issue these days, it was good to be so close to the village centre/harbour that there was no need to drive. We had a lovely relaxing time and have already recommended the accommodation to family and friends. Thanks once again for a wonderful time!

Hi Tina, Just a quick line to say that our short stay in Mevagissey was very much enhanced by the time spent in your lovely apartment. Close enough to the picturesque harbour, but far enough to be enjoying the peaceful tranquillity of the sun terrace. You have clearly put a lot of thought into the place, and its facilities and interior furnishings make it like a home from home, or in some cases a bit of an upgrade even. It was also perfect for our little Lilly scooting around in her walker, and many thanks for the cot and highchair. Loved the holiday and loved the apartment.

A wonderful apartment in beautiful Mevagissey. We had a fantastic holiday with our 1 year old son, the apartment was great for us all and a perfect base to explore the whole of Cornwall. Great weather, great food and very friendly people. We didn’t want to go home and will be back soon.

Thank you so much for allowing us to have a last minute break in your lovely apartment, I had heard so much about it prior to our visit and it didn’t let us down. The accommodation and location are fantastic, it was especially nice to not have to use the car as there is plenty to do within boat, bus or walking distance. Great restaurants on the doorstep and well kitted out kitchen should you feel the need to cook – we didn’t! Will definitely go back and have recommended to friends.

This was a haven for a week, and the apartment was of such good quality, with everything we could need, including the lovely garden and parking. Mevagissey was splendid with all the restaurants and pubs, and lovely walks and beaches so easily available. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Thanks Tina and Alan for a fabulous holiday - it was my second visit to Mevagissey and your apartment is by far the best I've stayed in - I hope to return as soon as possible!  I found the location perfectly placed in a quiet area but still near to the shops and harbour.  The terrace/garden was an added bonus - I so enjoyed sitting in the sunshine and could have happily spent hours there with a cup of coffee and my book!  The evenings were equally fab - the star-studded sky was a joy to behold!  Everything (with the exception of a hairdryer!) was provided and of good quality - I particularly appreciated the constant supply of hot water available at any hour on returning from the many beautiful walks in the area."  All the best to you and your family - you're very lucky to own such a beautiful property.

Dear Tina - We really enjoyed our holiday in Cornwall. Your apartment was lovely - very spacious and decorated and equipped to a very high standard. It is in a very good location - quiet and a very short walk to the shops, restaurants and harbour and it was wonderful to have the parking place. Your scones were very welcome on our late arrival and it was great to have all the brochures and leaflets on nearby attractions and places of interest. The children really enjoyed themselves and liked their bedroom in the snug. It was an added bonus to have the two bathrooms. We really appreciated all you did for us to make our holiday so memorable, particularly sending directions and information on the church. You certainly went the extra mile! We will certainly recommend your holiday home to family and friends and would return there in the morning!

Hi Tina - just a line to let you know that we were very impressed with the apartment and had a very nice stay. I have posed something on Tripadvisor but as there does not seem to be a category for self-catering apartments I have included it in our review of Mevagissey. The apartment was very well equipped, very well furnished and spacious. In fact there is not much that I can fault. The only niggles were the lighting which was poor in the kitchen area due to the fact that none of the lights under the cupboards worked all week and it would have been very useful to have a hand rail on the lower steps wall which would have helped my husband who is not steady on his feet (and I think anyone who is not so mobile including older visitors and ones with a bit of arthritis like me). Just one last thing it would have been nice to have a local telephone directory (to get numbers for takeaways, taxis and emergency services etc.). Please note these are not complaints but just hopefully helpful suggestions. I will certainly recommend the apartment to friends and family and may well stay again in the future although I may not bring my husband so that I can fully enjoy everything that Mevagissey has to offer.

The Garden Apartment was a perfect base for our week in Mevagissey. Private parking for two cars within a 3 minute walk to the Centre's numerous Cafes, Bars & Restaurants is pretty much impossible to find - but you supplied it. The accommodation was fitted out to a high standard and we had an extremely comfortable week. We have already recommended you to our family & friends - they are planning a stay in September !

Dear Alan & Tina, we loved the house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It was great that the house was so well presented and kitted out. Hi Tina, Alan, Molly and Ruby, what a wonderful New Years break we had in your fantastic Garden Apartment at Mevagissey. We found lots of interesting local walks for the family and the apartment was well suited for our dog Maisie.  It offered us everything you could possibly need in a self catering facility and is set out in such a comfortable way that we never felt worried about Maisie damaging any of your new furniture and fittings.  We will definitely be coming back and would love to do a summer break with you in Mevie but are we are also considering about a block booking of the whole building with our friends for the New Year again.  Our lasting memory from the week, and there were lots, will be sat eating freshly cooked fish & chips over looking the harbour after a lovely refreshing walk along the coast catching the sunshine rays on the last day of our holiday - FANTASTIC.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Garden Apartment. It is brilliantly located within the town and also for exploring a large area of Cornwall.  Despite staying in the winter when the weather was poor, we still found plenty to do to fill our time.
The apartment is modern, spacious and very well equipped, especially for people with children.  We would definitely recommend it to others.

Hi Tina,  Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your charming garden apartment. It was luxurious, spacious, graceful, beautifully furnished and completely equipped. We spent the entire first morning sitting on the patio in perfect sunshine, smelling the sea air and drinking in the surroundings. We are now smitten with Mevagissey and your apartment was the perfect place from which to explore. We just loved being able to walk to the pasty shop for cappuchino & scones every morning! We had great weather, the village & coastline were delightful and we can't wait to go back again.  All the best

Hi Tina.  Just a quick message to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your Apartment.  It is a really nice apartment very well equipped with everything you need.  Although we made the best of the weather it didnt really stop us doing anything.  We enjoyed trying the different restaurants and sampled some really good food.  We made a decision as you know to cut short the holiday as the weather forecast was really bad for the weekend and we didnt feel like staying in the pouring rain.  I would certainly like to come again maybe next year.  We will recommend your place to our friends as it is a lovely holiday home you have.  Kind regards
